I've suffered some lack of inspiration but I'm getting back on track now with new strips. To make up for my "leave of absence" I've now released a new layout (again)! Leave a note to the guestbook and tell me how do you like it!

As the last years holiday special The Spark was quite a success, I've decided to create a christmas special this year too! Now I'd like your comments and views on how to release it? Last year I released it page by page so that the whole story was online on christmas eve, did that work out for you or would you rather see the whole story immediately? If so, should it be released at christmas eve? Guestbook, guestbook, guestbook!

Aside from the christmas special, inspire me! Do you have anything special you'd like to see here? Any David Cook -related topics you'd want me to smash or make fun of? Haha, just kidding! No but ideas are surely welcomed! I can not stress this enough: GUESTBOOK!

Yes it's true, I'm giving away two +1 pieces of art work. They are A3 sized and made with markers. You can participate no matter where you live, but I am not responsibile of the possibility that the prize might get lost in the post offices. The contest starts today, the 18th of May and will end the 1st of July. There are three sections where you can participate, you can do one of them or you can do them all, but you can only win one prize. Good luck!

Section 1 - RENAMING DCOMICS.

When I first started to draw and release the strips under the name 'DComics' it seemed like a fun idea. Ha ha very funny - David Cook and DC Comics = DComics, but now I'm kind of fed up with the name. It gets lost at the searhing engines, it's taken as an username everywhere and it probably annoys the hell out of every true fan of DComics and the actual comics they release.

So, I'm giving you the chance to act. I've been suggested some names, such as ARRR!comics, so why not make it a competition? Suggest a new name for DComics and get your prize! :)

Section 2 - SPREADING THE WORD ABOUT DCOMICS.

DComics wants more readers, that's for sure. The cause of this task is to get more word nerds interested about DComics. So spread the word out! Go wild on MySpce, DavidCookOfficial, Buzznet, Livejournal, boards, chats, or anywhere you come up with! Put our banners to your profile, post blogs, inform your friends! Just get the word out, enter the contest and get yours!

WRITE TO THE CONTEST MESSAGE FIELD: Links to the places you've promoted (profiles with banners, blogs etc.), you can also write here if you've promoted some way that can be proved (such as telling a friend, promoting at a chat etc).
PRIZE: The colorful picture with the grimace. I've been calling the this peace of artwork 'Bar-Ba-Sol'.
TIPS: If you get feedback from someone about DComics, you can also add them to the message field!

Section 3 - EXPOSING YOUR HEART.

This is the section where you can just pour your heart out. How did you hear about DComics? Why do you like them? What's your favorite strip and why? What do you like the most about DComics? What do you think DComics is missing? What would you like to see more? What would you like to see a strip about? This is the section for real, true feedback and suggestions. Free your mind, I want to hear your opinions! The best feedback will be rewarded!
